Anatomy And Physiology

The first (1st) semester of the yearlong course explores the anatomical structure and physiological processes of the human body. Scholars learn about anatomy and physiology from both microscopic (atoms and cells) and macroscopic (organ functionality and bodily systems) perspectives; and explore the following body systems: endocrine, immune, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive; as well as the concept of homeostasis and the underlying principles common to all systems are applied from the sub-molecular to the organismal level for each system.
